Last month we asked you to tell us where you intend to retire, and why. Here is our report on what 222 of your fellow members told us. Some of you know where you are headed, while others are conflicted. Your stories, and your logic, are fascinating.

Lakeland in Central Florida is one of the places our members told us they want to retire to.  This town in a region of many pretty lakes and countless active communities is both inexpensive and growing.  Unlike a lot of places in Florida it has some history to it; many of its downtown buildings date to the original Florida boom years

Ever dreamed about being a cowboy?  Tom Nee is living his retirement dream on board his quarter horse Rooster, working at the Green City Livestock Market. Better yet, he even gets paid.  Find out about this rather unusual retirement, the latest in our continuing series of interesting baby boomer retirement profiles.

Did You Turn 70 and 1/2 last year?
If you did you probably have an important deadline on April 1. That's when you will have had to have taken a minimum withdrawal from your traditional IRA, or face a hefty penalty.

It's not just college kids that have a dream about living in Boulder, one of the most "awarded" cities in the country. Retirees are drawn here too - there is the University, for one thing. Then there are the stunning mountains, the bike paths, the parks, the restaurants. Only drawback - it's so nice it is also expensive.
